Synopsis

Patrick Vollrath, the director of Alles wird gut, confessed that he spent more time finding the right actress than actually shooting the film. And this is indeed not surprising. The 8-eight year-old actress has tremendous force in getting sincerity across, but also in giving extraordinary complexity to this family drama, throughout both rough and shattering scenes. The pursuit of staggering emotions as ultimate objective goes through grey areas, stocked with doubt and lacking heartwarming, simples truths.
